지식융합 인공지능 연구실에서는 반도체 공정 진단, 비전 검사, 이상 탐지 및 수율 관리, 의료 영상(뇌종양, 편두통, 치주질환, 유방암, 심장질환 등), 신경 퇴행성 질환(치매, 파킨슨병), 스마트빌딩, 열역학 영상 및 센서 데이터 등 다양한 주제를 다루고 있습니다. 연구의 중심 철학은 “지식융합 인공지능”으로, 단순한 데이터 기반 학습을 넘어 Heterogeneous Data Fusion, 도메인 지식 반영, 모델 융합, Bayesian 불확실성 정량화 등을 결합하여 해석 가능하고 신뢰성 있는 AI를 개발하는 데 있습니다. 이러한 접근을 통해 학문적으로는 분석 방법론을 확장하고, 산업적으로는 제조·의료·에너지 현장에서 활용 가능한 성과를 만들어가고 있습니다. 현재 연구실은 기존 ML/DL 기법을 넘어 창의적이고 실용적인 AI 방법론을 탐구하며, 경쟁력 있는 데이터 분석과 알고리즘 개발에 열정을 가진 연구자들과 함께하고자 합니다. 자세한 연구 현황은 Research Projects and Publication을 확인하시거나 연구실로 직접 문의해 주시기 바랍니다.

Knowledge Fusion and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory is focusing on practice, methodology, and theory of statistical machine learning. Recently, our research interests are transfer learning of heterogeneous data sources for predictive analytics, imaging-based diagnosis using deep learning, and smart and connected health.
